About our Host

Joe Klimchak '91 has been studying the art of public speaking for more than 40 years. Fascinated by television broadcasters at a young age, Joe's dream was to become either a Major League Baseball stadium announcer or a game show host. Both dreams came true in 2005 when he was named the Pittsburgh Pirates' In-Game Host, and over the past 19 seasons, he's had the chance to welcome more than 30 million baseball fans to PNC Park. Joe also served as the Sports Information Director at Grove City College from 1991-2000.

Dr. Randy Wilber ’76, a sports physiologist with the United States Olympic Committee, sat down with Grit & Glory host Joe Klimchak ’91 to give us the inside scoop on the athletes to watch during the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics which kick off this weekend. Randy has worked for many years with athletes from various sports to help them achieve excellence.
